HEALTH GUARANTEE

Care, documentation and clear terms.

Health information should be understood together with the written agreement and veterinary records for the individual puppy.

Terms

All American Bully Puppies purchased from us come with a health guarantee. Within 10 days of purchasing your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within 10 days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you can contact us.

Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free of signs of infection and contagious or communicable diseases at the time of adoption. Our relationship with you does not end when you take home a puppy. A puppy’s health is dependent on genetics, exercise, food, nourishment and overall care, and no breeder can guarantee that a puppy will never develop a health problem.

In the unlikely event of the death of your puppy within one year from its date of birth due to genetics, or if the puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders within one year that adversely affect its health, the puppy will be replaced with another of equivalent value at no cost to you, subject to the written guarantee. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian.

What we need from you

Nothing delights us more than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy puppy to your home. Please send us a copy of the veterinary examination/medical record within 4 business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian.

Your puppy will come with age-appropriate vaccinations. Do not vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving it unless directed by your veterinarian. While we de-worm and vaccinate your puppy until the departure date, continue proper de-worming and regular veterinary examinations up to 16 weeks of age or longer, as recommended by your veterinarian.

Exceptions to our guarantee

  • We cannot guarantee disposition or temperament, conformation, adult size, weight, color, markings or breeding ability.
  • Failure to provide timely inoculations or regular veterinary care may void the guarantee.
  • The guarantee does not cover costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes.

Veterinary health examination

We require each puppy to undergo an extensive health check before coming home. The veterinary report is designed to examine cardiovascular, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal, respiratory, ears, urogenital and gastrointestinal condition.

The report should be completed close to the date the puppy comes home so that the health evaluation is recent. The report is then reviewed for any issues or concerns noted by the veterinarian. We also require the buyer to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of receiving the puppy.
